Products are the foundation of any eCommerce retailer. Without these products, customers have nothing to buy! Product images, and their respective detailed descriptions, need to appear on the retailers' website. But how? By manually inserting products into their own database, and uploading images to go along with those products via ftp or an admin panel?
If you don't have an eCommerce website like Shopify or Modalyst, but want to sell products on your site (and you don't want to re-design your website), what you want is an API - a piece of code delivered to your website from the suppliers' database.
